This paper aims to derive the Black-Scholes equation for readers without advanced knowledge in finance and mathematics. To succeed, this paper contains a theoretical chapter in which concepts such as options, interest rate, differential equations and stochastic variable are explained. This paper also presents the theory of stochastic processes such as the Wiener process and Ito process. In the chapter on the Black-Scholes model the Ito process is used to describe price of shares and with the help of Ito's lemma Black-Scholes equation can be derived. In the paper, assumptions are listed that apply to the Black-Scholes model and then uses the Black-Scholes equation to calculate the price of a European call option.

I och med att globalisering ökar i världen, kan det vara av vikt för företag att se över sitt ar-bete med frågor som går under begrepp så som Global Compact och Corporate Social Re-sponsibility (CSR) samt att ha kunskap i hur samarbete kan ske på olika nivåer i företaget med hjälp av Non Governmental Organizations (NGO). Denna uppsats har valt att tolka be-greppet CSR utifrån de tio principerna i FN:s Global Compact. När ett företag arbetar enligt dessa principer ställs krav på rapportering av hur principerna tillämpas och vilka effekterna blir, vilket skapar goda normer för hur andra företag bör arbeta med dessa frågor. Det finns olika sätt att mäta detta arbete på.Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att ta reda på hur företag i Sydafrika arbetar och agerar vad gäller frågor relaterade till CSR. För att uppfylla syftet ställdes följande frågor; på vilket sätt arbetar företag i Sydafrika med frågor som omfattas av begreppet CSR samt vilka är de främs-ta hindren för att Sydafrikanska företag skall kunna fortsätta implementera CSR i sin verk-samhet? En kvantitativ studie med kvalitativa inslag har genomförts.

Min uppsats har visat på black metal-stilens betydelse för fyra ungdomars identitetsskapande. Jag har med koppling till teoretiska infallsvinkar och begrepp rörande stilars och kulturers betydelse diskuterat black metal-kulturen med fokus på dess stilmässiga uttryck, dess symbolanvändande och dess innebörd för ungdomarnas självbild.I min studie har jag diskuterat och redogjort för hur black metal-kulturen kan te sig genom att förklara hur musiken låter och hur stilens uttryck i form av kläder och frisyrer kan se ut. Uppsatsen har visat på hur symboler och kodsystem används av ungdomarna inom ramen för kulturen för att markera och positionera sin identitet. Jag har i min studie även visat hur black metal-stilen kan vara ett existentiellt ställningstagande mot kommersialism och mainstreamkultur..

Vi undersöker den ickeparametriska optionsprissättningsmodellen med namnet kanonisk värdering. Vi visar att den kanoniska modellen fungerar väl på svensk data. AbstractRelationships between white women and black men have become a topic of interest in various discussion forums. By examining different arguments within certain discourses, it becomes clear that discourses that have a distinct autocrat outline, i.e. a closed and declaring nature which excludes alternative discursive arguments, also define these relationships as different and deviant in comparison to relationships that does not encompass and include the constellation white women and black men. As a result of the use of autocrat discourses the white women and black men who enter into relationships are displaced and positioned as subaltern. A position which, on the one hand, allows for uninhibited criticism, but, on the other hand, and most importantly, it is a position from where they can be defined by others.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate whether publiclibraries language cafés can support or enable the empowerment of the participants. Empowerment means that the individuals ability to take control of their own lives is strengthened and that the individual becomes more independent. Empowerment also means that the individual takes part in a community. An important part of this is the language. I have developed two research questions: What forms of empowerment can be seen in the respondents' statements? What role do language cafés play for people from other countries, in terms of empowerment? The thesis empirical material consists of interviews whit five people involved in different languages cafes in public libraries in the city of Malmö.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka huruvida ett pilotprojekt bestående av en ny typ avmedarbetar- och lönesamtal i Sandvikens kommun givit någon effekt på rolltydlighet,empowerment och arbetstillfredsställelse. Vidare var syftet att undersöka sambanden mellanrolltydlighet, empowerment och arbetstillfredsställelse. En enkät besvarades av 62förskollärare. Genom t-test undersöktes skillnaden mellan förskollärare som deltar i projektet(N=34) och andra förskollärare (N=28) gällande dessa variabler, men inga signifikantaskillnader kunde visas. En multivariat regressionsanalys visade i enlighet med tidigareforskning ett samband mellan rolltydlighet och arbetstillfredsställelse, men något sambandmellan empowerment och arbetstillfredsställelse visades inte.

Diabetes mellitus typ 2 (DMT2) är en växande sjukdom som patienten kan påverka genom att byta livsstil. I Sverige har 365 000 personer diagnostiserats med diabetes mellitus typ 2. Det tros finnas lika många personer med oupptäckt diabetes mellitus typ 2. Syftet med studien var att undersöka på vilket sätt sjuksköterskan ska utföra empowerment för att motivera diabetes mellitus typ 2 människor till förbättrad egenvård. The purpose of our study is to examine the case managers reasoning and descriptions of empowerment as a method in their social work from a comprehensively perspective including family members. To manage with this purpose we interviewed two case managers, two clients with mental disabilities and five family members. We have come to the conclusion that the case managers works more consist of advocacy than empowerment. Despite that we have found that the long term goal for the case mangers work is to give the clients tools for empowerment. Our results also show that the clients feel that they have gained and increased their ability to do things by themselves and to be a part of the community.

Black nightshade (Solanum nigrum L.) is a major problem in gardenpea cultivations contracted by Findus AB, a Swedish food processing company. The main problem is that the nightshade berries contain solanin and, thus, are not tolerated in the marketed product, which is fresh frozen peas. In addition, berries have the same size and color as the peas and cannot be separated at the factory. Black nightshades have the last ten years become a more common weed in field grown vegetables in the southern parts of Sweden. This MSc thesis presents an experiment conducted in 2005, aiming at developing a tool for predicting the need for control of black nightshade in peas.
